So I got good news today.
The below was written on the 12th of September. I have not posted it until now due to laziness and forgetting I'd written it. However, it shall remain for posterity

In case you hadn't gathered, I'm ill like an ill thing. First I had a stinking cold from Saturday onwards. Then, when I thought I'd got rid of it, I developed a weird wooziness that's not quite dizziness, with accompanying stomach roils and vague nausea. Not enough to be an outright problem or make me throw up, but strong enough to always. Be. Noticeable. And therefore irritating.

That started at about 2pm on Wednesday. It's not gone away yet.

On the upside, I FREAKING LOVE KATEKYO HITMAN REBORN. Omygodsoawesome. I also clearly have a favourite character type, because Gokudera and Squalo are currently competing for first place. Clearly, my type is loud, dedicated, and fucking batshit in oh-so-many ways.

However, there needs to be more Squalo fic out there. Yes, he is a big freak. However, he is a freaking hilarious big freak. The few bits of Squalo fic I've found recently have made me double over laughing and forget about the nausea.

Anyway! Moving on to the present time...

Today at work we had a staff/team meeting thing. I would not normally write about this, for staff meetings are not the most enthralling things in the world.

However, at each staff meeting there is a staff award. This staff award goes to a member of the team who has been nominated by another member of the team, for anything under the sun - no matter how big or small. If you think it's worth a nomination, send an email and the nomination is noted. Nominations are anonymous, and the winner is decided by the manager using some mystic criteria/on known only to herself.

Guess who won it this month. Your first two guesses don't count. XD

(BTW, guess who's also only been in post for eleven weeks. Pretty good going, huh?)

In case that wasn't obvious enough: THEY GAVE ME CHOCOLATES. MY ULTIMATE LOYALTY IS SECURED.

Aaaaaanywa. Imma gonna celebrate by playing Kingdom Hearts (again) and finding me some more Gokudera stuff now. Or any Gokudera stuff, because he is made of awesome. Mmm, Reborn. So full of hilarious, nonsensical genius.
